Inspirational life quotes can remind us of the important things in life; as well as what we need to do in order to live our best life. Below I have collected five of my favorite inspirational quotes to help reduce stress and be happier.

Be Present:

One of the ultimate objectives of attaining inner simplicity is to learn to live happily in the present moment. ~ Elaine St. James

Often times we are so busy striving for a better life, or to achieve our goals, that we forget to live in the moment and savor each day. When we do this – we learn contentment – one of the best gifts we can receive.

Do Less:

Never again clutter your days or night with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along. No more busy work. Leave time, leave space, to grow. ~ Og Madino

There is such a thing as being too busy. Every single moment of our days need not be filled with activities, tasks, or chores. Stop, breathe, and de-clutter! Get rid of meaningless activities that do not add value to your life.

Focus On What’s Important:

The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

Stop and look around you. There are little signs of beauty and positivity if you take a moment to appreciate them. Small spurts of beauty will add positivity to your day. Take advantage!

Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff:

Often we allow ourselves to get all worked up about things that, upon closer examination, aren’t really that big a deal. We focus on little problems and concerns and blow them way out of proportion. ~ Richard Carlson PH.D

In the scheme of things, we can’t enjoy our lives to the fullest if we become upset or worry about every little thing. We have to decide what is really worth becoming upset or worried about. My belief is this – if is not going to kill you, or maim you, it’s not worth the bother.

Keep It Simple:

Simplicity involves unburdening your life, and living more lightly with fewer distractions that interfere with a high quality of life, as defined uniquely by each individual. You will find people living simply in large cities, rural areas, and everything in between. ~ Linda Breen Pierce

With technology and the fast pace of society, things sure have a tendency to become complex or complicated. It doesn’t have to be. Many people read more into things than necessary. Keep life simple. You’ll enjoy it more and experience less stress and tension.

If you can follow the wisdom from these five inspirational life quotes your life should improve. Wouldn’t you love to alleviate some of the pressures, tensions, and stresses that negatively impact your health and the your quality of life? Well, now you have the wisdom to do so.
